Meet Our Staff—We love them and so will you!
Anna
Anna is well versed in all areas of the practice. You may find her at the front desk answering questions, in the pre-test area working with a patient, or working in the dispensary with glasses and contact lenses. She usually works with the infants in the office, too.
She is in charge of coordinating our frame purchases from Bebe and Gucci. She is our insurance question expert, too. She spends most of her time out of work being Mom to her three kids. She loves online social networking, hanging out with friends, watching movies, and shopping for purses. She always has a smile to share, too!
Joshua
OPTICIAN
Joshua joined Desert Eye in 2023. He joined us with 13 years of optical experience and a real love of opticianry!
Joshua is known for helping patients find the “right” pair of eyewear whether it be for every-day wear, sunwear, sportswear, computer use, or just the latest fashion eyewear. He has a knack for helping patients select eyewear that meets their individual lifestyle needs.
His experience has made him an expert in spectacle lens technologies. As he gets to know your wants and needs, he will help you create the perfect pair of glasses. He’s a lens expert!
In his free time, Josh enjoys traveling, hiking, and camping. He also likes to shop. On his days off, you can find him wandering through consignment, vintage and resale shops
Tina
Tina comes from a diverse customer service background, but is excited to hop in the eye care world! She is originally from Lancaster, PA, and moved to a small town here in Arizona as a kid. You will usually find her at the front desk, she is easy to talk to and will take the time to get all of your questions answered! She enjoys crocheting and spending time with her pets on her days off.
Kiana
Kiana joined the Desert Eye team with a background in customer service. She was raised in Mesa, Arizona. She was new to optometry when she joined us in 2024.
You will meet Kiana primarily at the front desk or as a pretester. Her years of wearing glasses is helping her become a great frame stylist, too. She sees every new frame that arrives at the office. She is patient and thorough in all that she does.
When not working, Kiana enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys being active. When she can, she likes to embark on new adventures. Camping is one of her favorite activities.
Tracey
OPTICIAN
Tracey has been with Desert Eye for many years. Tracey has over ten years of optical experience and is licensed by the American Board of Opticianry in Arizona. She holds a Bachelor of Science and is pursuing a Master’s degree in healthcare.
Tracey provides patient care, manages frame inventory, and assists with frame and lens selection. She stays updated on vision trends and technology for optimal patient comfort.
Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family, friends, and fur babies.
